Memory Stick (MS) is another memory card type for digital camera to store digital pictures. Currently, most Sony cyber-shot digital cameras uses memory stick. Memory Stick is developed by Sony in 1998. There are several types of memory stick including Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, HG, Duo and Memory Stick Micro (M2). If photos on the memory stick were lost due to deletion, format, or memory stick damage, error or unreadable, CardRecovery software is able to help you recover them in most cases.

Steps to recover the lost photos from memory stick:
1. Click here to download CardRecovery to your computer.
2. Run the downloaded cardrecovery_setup.exe and follow the instruction to install the software to your computer. The software works with Windows platform only.

Launch CardRecovery from Start menu -> Programs -> CardRecovery -> CardRecovery.
4. CardRecovery uses a wizard-style user interface. On step 1, you may choose your digital camera brand (mostly, it should be Sony since you are recovering pictures from memory stick).

5. CardRecovery will perform a full scan on your memory stick and list the recoverable pictures. It will allow you to preview and select the needed photos before saving.
